My son bought one of these late last summer in really good shape from a guy who claimed it had "severe carb issues". This equated to a 25 minute cleaning of the carb and fuel pump. Anyway this particular one was from about 1982 and is for all intents and purposes identical to the Murray except for cosmetics. 18hp Briggs Opposed with peerless tranny. I was wondering if anyone knew what size the drive belt was. I slipped it last year by accident and realized it looks pretty bad when I put it on and I probably should replace it, but can't find what size it is, or any documentation for this or the Murray version of the tractor.

It is easy if you post the numbers off of the tag on the frame, or under/behind the seat.

Take the old belt and look for numbers on it. Or just measure it
