Admin are you sleeping today, twice I have come on this site just to see page's of threads that should not be on here, so why does it take a admin so long to delete them and they account.

Apparently the admins aren't on here that often.

Need to make admins out of some of the members who ARE on here often.

It's likely a system hack by a bot and not that easily dealt with.

I agree. Used to have 4+ active admins, now we don't seem to have any.

So how much are we paying for this atrocious service ?
Thus do we have a RIGHT to demand anything ?
If you look at the times of the Korean posts yo will see they are closer than the forum allows members to post.
Thus this is not some desperately poor spammer in a 3rd world country.
It is a hacker who has hacked into the system.
So before his devious work can be removed you have to go through the softwear, line by line to see what he did and what will be the consequences of undoing it.
With the sites I run we pull down the site & replace it with a pre hack back up thus loosing everything that was posted during the attack.
Then the broken programe goes off to the geeks to be worked through & repaired then reloaded .
This takes a long time .
The fact that the hackers attacked on the week end shows they are professionals who know it is the weekend in the USa so only skeleton staff ( if any ) will be on duty.

Welcome to the wonderful world of organized professional cyber crime .

It's just as free if you have five, ten, twenty or even a hundred moderators. They don't get paid. At least I have never been paid for moderating.

So there is not much excuse to NOT have enough moderators to keep some spammer like the last one from putting a thousand posts on the forum.

Admittadly there are fewer moderators here now that when I joined 5 years ago.
So a few more would not hurt.
Always a problem finding people who can be objective with sifficient computer skills to do the job and the correct computers.

I am 45 wpm typist @ 80%.
Going back to check spelling ( keyboarding actually ) takes way too long.
Sometimes it gets corrected if another reply is needed
OTOH I am a lousy speller.
Most engineers and a lot of science grads are as well because we spent decades scanning articles & papers not actually reading them then making shorthand notes which we never get around to expanding.

Humanities students are generally much better spellers because they dwell on every word deciding is it was the appropriate one for that sentence.

I won a spelling bee in 2nd grade, I got a nice prize that I gave my Mom.

I write advertisements a lot, so I am in the habit of checking grammar and spelling on everything I post. Correct spelling makes a good impression on potential customers.
