I have a Sears L1000 riding mower.
The battery was replaced with one that has cold crank amps as opposed to the original that did not have cold crank amps.
Can I switch from a standard 30w motor oil to a 10w-30?
I live just outside of Richmond, Virginia where the weather is not that severe and I don't intend to use the mower in the middle of winter.
Thank you.

All lawnmower batteries have a Cold Cranking Amp or CCA rating, but some just don't show it. And you can switch from 30w to 10w30 if you want, but in some cases can cause increased oil consumption, so need to keep an eye on oil levels.
