My Hustler is moving extremely slow. It seems like it's not responding when I move it forward or backwards, as if something is not connected to the engine. Any idea what's going on?

We need the make and model number of the mower to give you the best advice. First thing I would check is the drive belt for the hydros. Make sure it is tight, if not check routeing as it may have jumped off the tensioner pulley.

If you changed the hydro filters or seals in the pump then you might have the caps on wrong. turn them around and purge the system.

When was it last serviced ?
How old is the drive belt ?
What model is it ?

Does it make funny noises ?
Dose it smoke ?
How about vibrations ?
