i just put on a new carburator on my 13.5 tecumseh engine, am wonderin why its shooting gasd out of the muffler

Are you positively sure you have correct carburetor, double check, new fuel filter, fresh gas, & is gas tank clean without sediment in bottom of tank?

That sounds like an extremely rich carburetor Im surprised It even runs (If It runs).
