I try to fix my snapper, but the main problems I have, have to do with the carburetor, which I know nothing about. When it won't start, I take it to my dealer, and he says it's oil in the gas and says he cleans the carb and changes the oil. It happens a lot, and I don't tilt the mower over on its side. I want to be able to work on my carb and fix it myself. Are there manuals or websites that can walk me through working on my carb? Thanks for your help.

Absolutely yes, you can rebuild your carburetor yourself. It is gas in oil, remove dipstick & see if it smells like gasoline. Thanks, Mark

Thank you for the help. Without leaning the mower over, I don't see how it happens so much, but it's about $50.
