Hello, I need a little help please. I have a 2013 FastCat RZ 61" that I bought used last summer. It has about 40 hours on it now and I want to set the deck correctly. I have the manual but it leaves a lot to be desired to say the least. It says the deck should pitch forward 1/8", but at this time it measures pitched back 1/8". Will someone tell me which is lower, the front or the back?
I am grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks,
Russell
Pitched forward the deck cuts heavy & tall grass better
Pitched back it cuts fine grasses cleaner but can overwhelm the deck and really must have high lift blades fitted.
Normally you pitch them down at the front but some times healing works better.
Yes I know this is an older post. My Bob-Cat dealer pitches the back lower, at least for models with the Dura-Deck like I have. They said they get too many cut quality complaints when pitched forward.
