I have a ‘99 Exmark 60” Lazer Z with 758 total hours run time since new. The engine is a Kohler Command 25 HP (CH25). Back in May, I had the head gaskets replaced at 736 hours. Tonight, something let go in the top end that has me wondering if a new engine may be necessary. What comments can you guys share regarding another Kohler vs. the Honda GX630 or GX660? I’ve had enough grief with this Kohler at this point that I’m leaning rather heavily toward the Honda. Convince me one way or the other, hopefully with your own, first hand experiences.
