50th Anniversary Cub Cadet?

The first Cub Cadet mowers were released in 1961, and 2011 will be the 50th anniversary. Cub Cadet did a 40th anniversary edition in 2001, and I wonder if they'll do one in 2011!

Yes!! They have a 50TH Anniversary Garden Tractor. Model GTX 2154LE !! I will try and Post a Couple Of Pictures Tomorrow.

I believe it's the GTX 2150 LE that is the 50th Anniversary Edition

The first Cub Cadet model made was the International Cub Cadet Tractor, better known as the Original. It was made from 1961 to 1963... The last "real" International Cub Cadet was built around 1981..

Then the name was sold to MTD... they make a much different mower than the IH Cubs ...
I still have my 1450 bought new in 1975, Many many hours on the little guy but it still is a great garden tractor...:smile:KennyV

While on the subject of 50th anniversary tractors, I have a '53 Ford Jubilee and that model was introduced as part of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Ford Motor Company...have not given much though to that tractor as when I got my JD I quit rebuilding the Ford.

Cub Cadet was the first farm equipment company to produce, manufacture, and market their own line of garden tractors. MTD, purchased CUB CADET in 1985.The New GTX2150 is there 50th Anniversary Model:thumbsup:
