K krossy Forum Newbie May 15, 2011 #1 The mower starts fine and runs fine for about 30 seconds. Then the governer will choke the mower and it will die. I can start it again, and it does the same thing. The carburator is clean and the gas is new. Can anyone help ??

jmurray01 , , 1,000 Post Club May 16, 2011 #2 It could be that the carburettor is set wrongly, and flooding the engine (that's what it sounds like to me). Does it puff out any smoke on start up or when dying ?

CajunCub Well-Known Member May 16, 2011 #3 Clean out the carberator and fuel tank, then install a new spark plug....Good Luck!
