Just got a free 33-inch combo mower. Pull start cord is broke and seems like it's compression locked. I was able to break it free. I used the string to try and pull the fly wheel, but couldn't get the mower to turn over at all. I'm not sure if the spark plug is good or bad. Any ideas on trouble shooting.
I had a craftsman 33 inch mower several years ago that would pull very hard some of the time. It also had a problem with the carb as gas would run into the oil and out the exhust. had the carb rebuilt twice and after the third time it went down the road.
