321D Restoration?

Bought a used 321D with the 3 cylinder Kubota diesel about 2 years ago. It's a 2001 model from what I understand and it only has 980 hours on it. It's been a great mower, but it seems to have one or two break downs every summer on me. I just took the mower to the dealer and gave them permission to go through the mower with a fine tooth comb in hopes that they can prevent some of the future break downs.

So now that I'm spending some money on the mechanical, I'm wondering if I should go all out and do a full repaint on the mower too. The fenders are kind of bent up and the decals are mostly coming off and the paint is faded, but there's not much rust on the machine. Wanting to get some thoughts on this.

Good idea, preventive maintenance includes body & paint.

I wouldn't go gung-ho on body work unless theres rust. The mower is 14 years old. As long as it runs good, thats what counts.

And definitely forget about repacing decals.
No factory wants owners to restore mower, they want you to uy a new one from them so the price of decals is unbelievable.
