I acquired a cub cadet 2160 without the main drive belt which I have now obtained. My question is this:
Because the engine is horizontal, when the drive belt is routed over the idler pulleys which are at 90 degrees to the engine pulley the belt must be twisted to run over the pulleys and then twisted back to run on the cutter deck drive pulley. Is this correct, or should the belt lie sideways on over the idlers, in which case it doesn't need twisting.
Thanks for any help
