Greetings!

Have a few year old Zturn Cub Cadet. Ran fine when I put it in the shed last fall.
Kawasaki 21 hp model FH641V
Won't start this Spring. Took plug out and grounded it while cranking the engine.
After abiout 20 secs I thought there might have been a couple very weak sparks.
No indication of mice damage on the wiring.

I have, and can use a volt meter.
Any help pointing me in the right direction will be appreciated

WELCOME to these Forums...

Most no spark problems are due to a shorted kill wire.
You can easily test thisby unplugging the kill wire at the engine on the coil. With it unplugged that Wire should measure a short to ground with the key in the off position. That same Wire should measure an Open to ground with the key in the run position.
If it is always a short to ground, you have a problem in that wire run Or at the switch & possibly associated wiring.

BTW... check that the PTO switch is in the OFF position... that will also not allow the engine to start... :smile:KennyV
