If I can't fix it, you don't have to pay, and no-one has paid in 50 years. No, all jokes aside, I'm a little better mechanic than that. Usually with a little guidance, I can fix things that aren't even broke. Sometimes they get broke just fixing them. Wow, it is early this Sunday morning... sometimes old Vets like me just can't make it go to sleep.
My mower only has 140 hours and wheel bearings are in good shape. They zerks are lubed regularly, every 3rd mowing on a 3.5 acre yard. The front deck support wheels shimmy excessively when mowing above 3 to 4 mph. Are there bolts that need to be re-torqued regularly or are there springs under the channel where it fastens to the frame? none of the bolts up there don't appear to be lose. However, I recently had to replace a couple of the pivots bolts on the rear of the deck, the bolts loosened and fell out of the pivot mount to frame.
Guidance on solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
