I am rehabbing a 2008 Bronce 13AV60KG011 with a 42" deck for my son to use. There is a small extension spring on the deck that is a bit of a mystery as to where it attaches. Pictures I have found online don't help because they do not show where the one end goes consistently and does not match the Troy-Bilt website diagram and does not show the attachment of the other end.
In the first pic, the green arrow appears to be the location where I believe it was in because the hole is worn a little. The yellow arrow is where at least one online pic shows it, and the red arrow is where it seems the Troy-Bilt diagram has it located under the nut.
The second pic shows the other end of the spring with the yellow arrow indicating a location where it could attach, although it extends the spring quite a bit.
Can someone give me a solid answer as to where both ends of the spring are attached?
