I have had issues with the transaxle leaking and whinning. There is a part on the bottom with two screws that started leaking after the first year. I bought a new one and it stopped leaking for a few years and then started again and now it has gotten where it will not drive and leaks air filled oil out when attempting to use it.
One screw will not tighten now due to being stripped and tapping it to 5/16 seems a bit large, but metric is the only thing I can find in between, any suggestions?
Also, do I need to replace this part again or is the whole system shot now?

I do not see a method for attaching a picture
It is boltedd on from the bottom with two 1/4 inch bolts and when removed has a star like aerorator sitting in the bowl.

It's easy to do. Put the picture on the internet where anyone can see it... even Facebook. Make sure you're on the picture, not a link to the picture. Right click and then left click on "Copy Image Location". Then use the img argument with no spaces around the link you just copied [img]ImageURL[/img], like this:
