1999 Sears Riding Mower 15.5 HP Turbo Cool - 917.256524

I had a previous post with no replies. Now I believe it is a different problem.

Cut grass today. Mower ran great! Some smoke coming from exhaust, and smells like a rich mixture.
When cleaning off the mower I noticed a LOT of oil all over the frame and behind the carb. I then took the air cleaner off (heavy oil in bottom of air cleaner cover) , and the carb intake side has a LOT of oil in it.

The breather hose coming from the breather cover is attached, and the other end was connected to the bottom of the air cleaner.

Anyone have any ideas on what's wrong and a fix??

whats the model type code of the engine?
Possible breather problem or hesd gasket problem

There are three sets of number stamped on the engine shroud ( cover ). Model. Type. Code
