I bought a used Craftsman Model 917- 1997 vintage. I's just mowed half the yard, then moved to a different section. I engaged the mower, it went for about 20 seconds then the mower deck just stopped. I turned the mower off the investigate, and when I went to start it again, nothing. No clicks, no chugs, nothing. I bought a replacement PTO switch, that was not it. I am thinking it might be part of the safety stuff that is screwy. Anyone else had a similar experience? Any ideas?
