I changed the engine oil in the Kohler Command 13 on my Husqvarna and apparently did not securely tighten the thread plug of the oil drain and/or there was another oil leak. The long and short of it is that the engine won't turn over and won't even crank when the key is turned. As the battery and the starter worked prior to that, I am under the impression that the piston is smoked/seized. I have little to no experience with single-piston engines and no experience with a seized engine to even know where to begin. The questions I have are:
  1. Is it worth trying to rebuild such an engine if it has a seized piston?
  2. Is it worth replacing or even rebuilding the engine of a 1997 or 1998 LTH130?
  3. If I am going to need to do some diagnostics on the engine to collect enough data to answer the questions above, where would I begin?
