18.5 twin II. Help and all opinions needed. Please read.

My neighbor had a lawnmower he left out for a few months with the carb cover off. Im going to disassemble and clean it, also has water in the oil, but since it was not ran like that im going to flush it a few times before a start up..

My main questions..

Whats the engine code?
Do they sell aftermarket or rebuild kits?
How much Hp does the btakes while running?


Im trying to make it into something to race the neighborhood golf karts

These are the MODEL, TYPE, & CODE numbers on some Briggs engines, on OHV engines the numbers are usually found on the valve cover, (may be on the bottom of cover ) on "flatheads" it's usually stamped into the engine shroud near the spark-plug area,or on the shroud flywheel screen area , of course, .. if someone has replaced the valve cover or shroud, then it's anybody's guess
