18.5 hp tecumseh gas engine

White 42" mower with a Tecumseh 18.5 hp engine will fire but not continue running. Carb bowl is clear. Fuel is being pumped to carb.
 
We are going to need your engine model and spec numbers before we can help you. Without them we have no idea of which Tecumseh engine you have. Help us, help you.
