ok...I picked up this mower off a guy for 300..its a lesco 52", 17hp kawasaki...after pulling the carb off and going through it runs strong as ever. but..it leaks oil i think its coming from the top seal shaft. i was thinking about taking the top of the motor and replacing the seal and JB Welding the shaft down in there so it doesnt pop back out causing the leak...now my question is has anyone ever done anything like that or have any other ideas for stopping that sort of leak? Or should I just sell the mower as is because fixing it will be a nightmare. I've used it enough doubling my investment. I just don't know about this fix...and suggestions....thanks
