I have a new Husqvarna line trimmer and it now has about three hours on it. My problem is that it does not want to rev to max and does not have enough power. My suspicion is that the carb was set at the factory for that elevation and I am using it at about 5200'. I have a spline socket set that I can adjust the carb with but I am reluctant to try until I verify my suspicions.

Has anyone else run into this problem and if so what did you do to fix it.

I don't think you can hurt it anymore than it is by adjusting the "L" (Low side) and the "H" (High Side). The "L" is used for throttling up like giving it gas like a motorcycle sitting at an intersection revving the engine up and down. Turn counter-clockwise to make it throttle up if it's stumbling and stalling. Use the "H" side when you hold the throttle about 1/2 to 3/4 open. Adjust it either way until you get maximum RPM. That's about it.
