I have a 1024 Gold Series Duraforce 6.5, needing a muffler plate with 98-1562 on it. Absolutely no luck have been to several parts dealers on line and FB lawnboy group, no luck, any help or for sale would be greatly appreciated thanks

Are you sure you have the model number correct? I just don't see a model 1024 Gold Series Duraforce, but I do see the 10424 Duraforce.

You are correct, went to see myself/customer is always right tho It is a 10424, plate is in fact 98-1562 though that part is correct Ser# 9900367 thanks for reply

Item #66 in the parts diagram for your mower shows to be part number 98-1383. Is that the part you need? I don't see a 98-1562 anywhere in the parts breakdown, although when I googled that part number (98-1562) it did show in old forum threads as being an alternative to the 98-1383 part number.
