Hello to everyone in the Stihl family!
My dilemma is that I put a new carb on my 1988 028. It runs real nice when it is first started but as it warms I can't get it to idle. When I give it the gas it hesitates as though the low speed screw is off but no amount of adjustment helps. I am thinking it is just time to retire it but it has been a great saw all these years. Could it be worn so as to have bad rings??
I'm going to remove the muffler as its never been off. I use a oil mix called one mix in all my 2 cycle stuff. Have no trouble (nok wood) with my other equipment.
