0.75 acre, wet low areas, small incline, little obstacles: ZTR or Tractor?

Most info in title. Not sure if I should pull trigger on ZTR or save cash and get lawn tractor. I am not looking for machine that I can bequeath to my grandchildren or start a biz with. I am looking more for advice on types of mower given the details in post title. Any advice or addt'l info needed?

I have used both and still have both types...
Have to admit that I will use a ZTR every time I can.. They do a better job, faster and are more fun... plus for me anyway, I can mow anything and stay clean... My ZTR has a cab....

I'm not sure about your "wet low areas" that could be a problem with anything but a very light mower...

With less than an acre to mow, speed is not likely a big consideration... so I would look at what ever strikes your fancy...
If you have friends or neighbors with the type mower your considering I would see if I could give my area a try out...

I'm like Kenny I have used both and I use my ZTR's all the time. They do do a better job, faster and are more fun but when it comes to wet areas I stay away because I'll be hung in the mud every-time. Just a suggestion as an alternative to the ztr and tractor you mite want to consider something like a 36" or 48" walk behind. There some cheaper and they do a good job in wet areas.

Having spent many years mowing and occasionally getting unstuck at the camp we called the Boylston Bog, you need to consider groundpressure or footprint. The largest tires with the lowest machine weight and also smoothness; a jerky drive system or steering will also dig you in. I was also wondering if a large walk behind might not be better in that respect. I was able to run a 350 pound DR though areas that would eat the JD lawn tractor.

You live on property that sounds just like mine. I have never tried a ZTR I use a GT. I get stuck from time to time and need to use another tractor to pull it out. Most years I have to wait until late May or early June (sometimes longer) before I can cut. The wet moist area is close to 1 acre.

Some of the tractors have locking hubs that can be engaged for a little extra traction. Style of tires does make a difference. Walk behind mower would be an option.
