Greetings,
I have a John Deere 445 tractor that has just recently developed battery issues. I replaced the battery and attempted to mow my lawn but after about an hour and a half the PTO would not stay engaged. When I shut the tractor down and then attempted to restart it it would not turn over at all. Testing the new battery showed that the voltage was under 11 volts. (I tested the new battery before I put it in and the Voltage was 13.2v.
I am trying to figure out where the voltage regulator is on this tractor but I can not seem to locate it anywhere. I am hopeful that the issue is just the voltage regulator and not the stator.
Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Darryl
