RX75 Will not go into neutral

I have a John Deere RX75 that ran two years ago. Now I cannot get it into neutral. I was going to give it away but cannot move it in gear. Is there anyway to force it into N?
I figure I will have to put it on its side to do any thing.

I would recommend inspecting the linkage that goes from the shifter to the transmission and make sure something didn't rust tight. If the linkage isn't rusted tight, I would suspect a possible broken shifter key inside the transmission. Make sure the external brake disc rotates and isn't seized to the pads. If it was parked with the brake locked for 2 years, the brakes may have seized to the disc.
