And the engine is a 24Hp Courage.
Here's some pic. Also a pic of what looks like a flywheel key. Two pieces, very thin. And it's magnetised. So I'm not sure yet. Just got this in yesterday and haven't checked to see if the key is there. Flywheel keys aren't magnetized, are they?

Thanks for the replies. The problem with this one is when you tighten the PTO to the crank, the crank won't turn over. Loosen the bolt just a little, and it turns over fine. The center of the PTO turns freely. And with just a little effort, I can spin the pulley. But put tighten it all up, and nothing moves.
The washer for the PTO to crank bolt fits the spinning part of the bearing assembly, no over lap.
