I Cannot find the lever to disengage the hydrostatic drive. I know where the lever is on many mowers. However i am having difficulty with this model. Help please.

I am sure there will be an owner chime in , but if not all of the JD owners manuals are on line.
They are in small chunks so you can not download the entire manual but you can download the drive section & print it out .

The 300 series had the freewheel lever along the frame in front of the right rear wheel. Look under the fender, and you will see it. I will include a pic from the operator's manual for reference.
