Replacing Kolher 14hp out of 1040 LT into 1042LT ?

I have a 1042LT (2004) that I am replacing a 14 hp Kohler from my 1040LT (2006) into it. I am down to the muffler and pipe and they are different. Before ordering the replacement muffler and pipe for a 1042 LT I need to know if the motors are the same. The motor was missing on the 1042 LT when I got it.

The motor has bolted up perfectly, but I don't know if the exhaust manifolds are different on the Kohler engines. The Kohler engine that I have is a KOHLER NO. CV14ST. SPEC NO. 1441.

If I am on the right track can any one tell me what part number for muffler and pipe that will work?
