Mower Repair Question

My Craftsman 22" Power Propelled, 675 Series B & S Engine, Model# 917.370431 will start and run on the first pull, however, after running for several minutes, I shut it off and it won't restart no matter how many pulls. Can anyone speak to what may be the problem? My maintenance experience is limited so use very simplistic terms. Thank you for your input.

Please post all engine numbers so we can see which engine and age of the unit you have.

If the problem only occurs after shut off, it's probably either an ignition coil hot shorting or a choking problem. That's why I asked for model numbers. I have run into this problem with two of the new auto choke engines. Have to wait for numbers before suggesting solutions.
