When pulling starter rope its stuck,ive pulled plug and manually turn blade,then ill try puling rope start it will engage but theres a knocking sound and its not the blade hitting the housing, Any ideas?Much appreciated.

you have either thrown a con rod or the counter weight.
This is a pull apart job, lots of labour, not much for parts.
Do not keep fiddleing with it as a broken con rod will very quickly wreck the bore and a broken counterweight will quite happily pop a nice bid hole in the cases.

Two things to check before proceeding. First, check your oil level, make sure that it is not over filled or low. Second, install the plug and give the rope a good pull without the plug wire attached. If the engine turns over normally and you feel compression, I doubt that you have any broken parts. If it spins very easily, a broken connecting rod is the most likely suspect. Let us know what you find.
