Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and to grasshoppers in general but have done some reading on them.

I just picked up an older one with no model number on it, the plate is missing under the seat. It's has the 3cyl kubota gas engine, chain drive hydros and a 6261 61" deck. From looking at parts manuals online I'm thinking it's a 2132. Was wondering if anyone would know another way to tell? Someone wrote 721 on the gas tank but it might have been replaced or maybe some of the older 721s had the chain drive hydros?

I'm attaching a couple pics, mine is on the left, my brothers 1822 is on the right.

Any info is appreciated!

It has the kubota gas engine, I thought the "D" stood for diesel?

year 1987, model# 2132.....I think. DA...I guess the D stands for dumb me. Your right the D stands for diesel

lol we all make mistakes.
Did they only make them one year?

Yes I think so. Have you ever heard of The Mower Shop? They know Grasshoppers. You might look at their site.

Yep! That's what gave me the idea it was a 2132, lots of info there. But they don't have my 6261 deck listed so I wasn't sure what else was missing.

Thanks for the link bobbysr but it's already bookmarked. Where in DE are you from, I'm only 10 mins from Newark.
