There's a fellow close to me that has a 2855 Woods mower that I can buy a right transmission out of. According to the picture I have of it, it looks correct. Does anyone here know what a Woods 2855 crosses over to in a Grasshopper? I don't have the pic on the computer yet to attach it. I'll try'n do that latter.
Meanwhile I'm waiting for the Mower Shop to call me back on this subject.
Edit: I'll pass this info on to those it may help. I had to call Grasshopper for that info. If I got this right, a 2855 is = to a 718K Grasshopper. The serial # of the Woods 2855 I was looking at started with 29 which Grasshopper said was an 1989 model with an Eaton 770 trans. An Eaton 771 is what I need which started production in the 1992 models. I may add more info later.
