The 4 inch idler pulley that rides on the idler bracket came apart a few weeks back.
So, I ordered a rebuild kit from Milford Power Equipment (CUB01) out of new hampshire.
The kit included the 2 flat idler pulleys, 3 spindle assemblies, 3 blades, and a belt.
Everything seemed to be identical to the original except the 4" idler pulley.
The flange height of the replacement is .372 inches and the original had a flange height of .415 inches.
When I got it together, the belt would come off every time I lowered the deck to the #3 spot. It would work on a higher setting.
Has anyone else had this trouble?
I believe that the flange height difference is the key reason the belt is coming off.
Is there anyone else out there who has any experience with this?
I am wondering what to do now.
??
Thanks,
Tom
