    Your first post was patronizing with combustion 101. I didnt respond. Now you give me "teaspoon of gas" scenario. Again combustion 101. If you would have read my first post it CLEARLY states I sprayed carb cleaner.... "teaspoon of gas". YES you're patronizing. Please dont comment further.

    Everything is as good as new. Like I originally posted it was used once. I was grateful for no damage to the crank case. It was just used without oil. Having said that it did have a minimal amount from the factory. That was enough to break the piston arm that I replaced.

    I ask as nicely as I can... please dont patronize me. I rebuilt my first lawnmower nearly 40 years ago. I've set points. I've adjusted valves more times than I can count. Please read the entire post before you comment.

    I never pulled the flywheel so could it still be off? Keep in mind this is a brand new machine.

    I've triple checked the dots are correct. I've adjusted valves many times in the past and never had one this picky. I either dont have enough compression or I'm backfiring now.

    I will double check compression tomorrow. The crank and cam are lined up properly.

    Just picked up a powersmart db72024pa snowblower. It was used once. Apparently that's how many times it can be used without oil. Lol. So I tore it down and replaced the piston arm and back together. Now it wont start. Its getting gas and spark. It won't even try to start with carb cleaner...

    Stumped!!

    Just recently acquired an old ryobi 410r tiller with a weed eater engine. I've replaced the carb, fuel lines, filter and plug. It has good compression and spark. I've double checked and reset the fuel adjustments on the carb. When I try to start it fuel is leaking out of the carb and obviously...
