    The other option now that I'm thinking of it would be to just order a bigger size, then see if I can adjust the output shaft pulley size to compensate.

    Pulley takes 1/2" belt Currently measures 2.25" OD, and 1.35" in the base of the groove. If the bore size was increased to 1-1/8", then it would only leave a inner wall thickness of around 0.11". Once the key is cut out from it, there would be pretty much no wall left.

    The problem that I ran into is that my pulley is 2.25" OD, they do not make them for a 1-1/8" shaft. There would not be enough material left if pulley was bored out. There is a 2.5 listed in the catalog, bit seems like they are not available anywhere I have found. This would be pushing it...

    Toro Z Master - Cut Off Spindle Lip
