Thanks Hammer, given i am averaging around an hour a week on this mower the long life plugs should last quite some time then.

The Briggs and Stratton manual lists a long life spark plug number 5066. How long can i expect this plug to last? The manual recommends a standard plug change after 100 hours. Cheers Rob

I've just purchased a 2100Z and have put 9 hours on it. So far it seems to be a solid piece of gear. A question when engaging the blades - the mower shakes a bit when i engage so is it better to engage the blades at lower throttle or a high throttle? Cheers Rob in Oz

I am going to buy a Ferris IS2100Z mower tomorrow, can anyone recommend a synthetic oil for the Vanguard oil guard engine. I will not be stretching it out to 500 hours as per the Ferris blurb. More like yearly. Thanks.
