Have original blades but am thinking mulch blades would be better to chop up fallen leaves. Any thoughts on this idea? Also, has anyone had the RPMs increased on their engine. I have the 18hp Kawasaki and would like to increase top rpm a couple of hundred. Good or bad idea?

Echo ES2400 leaf blower runs when horizontal-stalls when pointer downward. Just had carb cleaned by a mechanic. He said it runs great. I get it home...have to use starting fluid to start it...runs great when blower tube is horizontal to the ground, bogs down and nearly kills when blower tube...
