Slit the hose over the filters nipple. Pull off. And if you have enough slack left reinstall new filter. If not get new hoses.

Yeah I've some small self tappers with hex head and captive washer. I think I've had it out before when I put a new kit in it. Seems like it then had a small "o" ring instead of the 61323.

I've got a 48" snapper and it's made to stand up if need be. Use an electric hoist to set it up for deck work. No way can I lift it myself and set it vertical.
