    Hard to test compression if my head gaskets are shot. Hate to put it back together and not do the rings after having heads and sump off already.

    I have a couple Kohler commands on the bench both for sure need head gaskets and sump gaskets. Both around 1000 hours. Is there a way to test the rings? Or should I just plan on replacing those with the amount of hours? Thanks
