    Lawnboy 8157A1 deck and misc.

    Deck is solid,paint peeling.Other plastic parts are faded,fuel tank is two-toned from sunlight,recoil functions ok, a bit rusty peeling paint. P/U or I can ship,located in SE Wisc. I'll take any reasonable offer.

    Maybe now I know what that sound was...

    I've owned my 8157A a short time,(my first LB)and when engaging blade it would rattle a bit.I wasn't sure if this was normal or not.I should have asked this here. Could it have been a rod knock?... I think this is a little beyond a JB Weld fix.:frown:

    F-engine differences

    I have a new to me, 8157A that just busticated something internally,probably a rod.I haven't had time to check it out yet.I heard something snap and it slowly came to a halt. Anyway,I can possibly buy an 8270 and R8237 cheap.Are these interchangeable?
