I had that once and a new spark plug did the trick.

If a jet or passage is plugged it will need a small wire or some mechanical means to unplug it.

Is the head removed? Unless the spark plug is over the piston I don’t think there is room for the tap.

Vacuum leak? I had a neighbor a couple of years ago that put high alcohol gas in her mower. It would run but needed to be choked to run.

Sounds like you were putting the gas in way to fast. Lawn mower tanks are small so add the gas slowly.

That is a great deal. People around here think they are worth about twice that. Just a note that the cam gear was plastic, not the cam.

I have a 123 that was my Dad's and I use it to mow some areas (not my only mower). The problem is the hydrostat, it does not hold it's ground speed. Set the speed with the lever and any change in ground level it changes speed. Go slightly uphill and it slows way down, go down and it speeds...

My neighbor lady has a Lt1018 and I help her with maintenance. After working on it I test mow a little, question; when putting the mower in reverse the deck shuts off, anyway to stop that? I know John Deere mowers do the same thing but they have a switch or button to push to prevent the deck...

Daughters mower. Can not figure this out. Flywheel key ok, blade key good. Has oil in crankcase. I removed the bottom crankcase and checked the rod, it is tight and good. No play in the main brgs. What am I missing?
