    Repairs Statesman 3420-54 Garden Tractor won't do inclines

    Rather old tractor does fine on flat ground but poorly going up inclines. Is it the transmission or belt? On a unit this old, should I replace or repair. Anyone have an idea of the cost and work involved in a repair. Thanks. Barrie
