What mower decks are compatible with my 917.270514 ?

My Craftsman 917.270514 Right rear wheel will not come off. I've tried everything I know. The left rear wheel came off easily.....does the right side come off a different way? I'm stumped.

I have a 2000 craftsman rider 42" cut. The tires are old and won't hold air. I've put tubes in the other tires, but the wheel on the right rear is siezed and won't budge off the axel. I got the tire off the rim (while the rim is still on the tractor) and put a tube in it. Now I can't seem...

my 917.270514 14.5HP 42" Deck Craftsman Riding mower started squeaking today. So i turned off the blades and it continued to squeak. Sitting still running it doesnt seem to squeak. Is there some place I have to lube? I havent found a place for me to do that. Help.

Lawn tractor was running fine, then fuse blew. As soon as I insert a new fuse it blows. The key is OUT of the lawn tractor. What could be causing this? Craftsman Lawn tractor 917270514

I was just mowing and the mower just stopped. I turn the key, Nothing. i checked the button under the seat and thats not the problem. I was mowing some high grass, and had the deck all the way up. I didnt hear anything unusual before it happened. I didnt see anything in the blades....it didnt...

Craftsman Lawn Tractor 917.270514 keeps breaking the blade belt. I didnt buy it new and im thinking maybe a Spindle has gone bad? Not sure how to tell if thats the case tho. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!:smile:

Accidently i ran over some twine while mowing. I propped the front of the mower up to remove the blade and the twine, but when i put it back down the mower does nothing. no click so sound, nothing. I checked the seat switch and made sure it was depressed, still nothing when i turn the key...
