928 D PTO will not engage. When I pull the PTO, the engine dies within 5 seconds. The Switch under the seat has been removed and the wires tied together. It was working until I washed the mower and it set for a week, now the PTO will not engage. Any body have any ideas???

I just bought a 2000,928D2, 1100hrs. It is weak on the right side, it seems to drive straight but turning forward or reverse is very weak. Is there any way to check oil pressure? Any ideas?
