got a new mag today for my 10hp briggs&stratton model 204412. used the business card for a gauge and nothing. disconnected the wire on the back thats for the kill switch and still nothing. pull the plug and if i crank on it i can get a small spark sometimes, not often. ive tried other gaps form...

i have a 10 hp briggs and stratton and need to know what size the carb, studs are, they look like torx head.

picked up a 5500 watt generator today with a 10hp briggs and stratton, no spark, after checking everything out i figured it has to be the mag. anyway of checking it with a ohm meter.

ive got a 5hp that im on my second gas tank and again rust. really tired of it. figured if i use that por-15 to coat the inside i wont be getting any more. has any one here use por-15 on the inside of there tank. any problems with it.
