I have a motor wont start. It has spark and I shot some starting fluid in the carb and it wont even try to run. not sure what to look for. If it was a gas problem I would think it would have kicked over with the ether and then stopped, but i am by no means an expert. Any ideas that i can check?

The mower wont start. It acts like it is not in neutral but it is. The starter does not engage. I tried bypassing the neutral switch with no luck. Any ideas?
